The Decisive Moment Atlanta Wedding PhotographersThere are so many things that made Dana and Tyler’s wedding an epic event!  We could go on for days about the incredible setting, Atlanta’s Swan House and The Atlanta History Center, the beyond fabulous floral, Barbara Roos at her best, or the gorgeous couple that sweetly said I DO.  However, we feel there was something that far outshone all of those things and it was tradition.  A tradition of love, family, celebration and faith was evident throughout this celebration and it took our breath away! From the very start you could tell that this celebration was all about family and passed down sentiment.  The lace gorgeously stitched around Dana’s veil was taken from her mother’s wedding dress.  She carried a small family Bible that had been signed by every woman in her family on her mom’s side, dating back to her great aunt.  And talk about a legacy of love, one look at the faces of mom, dad or both sisters upon seeing Dana in her dress will tell you that THIS is a loving family!

A gorgeous reception at The Atlanta History Center continued with the tear-jerking traditions. Dana explained that her family members would likely all tie their cloth napkins into hats and wear them around all night. It was a tradition started at her uncle’s wedding almost 30 years ago in support of a family member with cancer, and let us be the first to tell you, this pastime hasn’t lost its vigor.
